After Star Wars Day last week, Google tells me this Wednesday is national Eat What You Like Day! Excellent! But before you touch that delivery app, consider for a moment Thursday morning - when you come downstairs to all those discarded junk food containers in the kitchen - oh the guilt! the remorse! The solution is obvious; simply inoculate yourself again the guilt and subsequent remorse, with a couple of hours out on the bike Wednesday evening!
Thanks to Lucas once again for this week’s route suggestion, a climb up from Wrington and around the back of the airport on Winters lane – should be a cracker.
The Weather’s looking good and everyone’s welcome. See you outside Priory school at 18:00

Wow …..domestic energy bills up another 50%. Let’s face it, even sitting around doing nothing is an expensive business nowadays. So rather than spend another evening under a pile of jumpers listening to the dogs teeth chatter, why not push back against the tyranny of the markets, and start generating some heat of your own on the Wednesday evening ride?
This week it’s the “Goldilocks” loop out to Mark and back via Chapel Allerton and Loxton. It’s so named because hopefully it’s not too hilly and not too flat. Should be a nice ride out, and we may yet see that much promised sunset over the levels!
Weather wise, it looks ok to me – but you might want to leave those deep section wheels at home!
Everyone welcome - see you outside Priory at 18:00 ( don’t forget your lights )

Here is the proposed route for this Sunday's club ride. The weather conditions suggest that going north is a good idea, although as there is a lot of gravel on the A370, we're taking a slightly different routing than normal to avoid that stretch.
Café stop at Wapping Wharf
Meet up at 9am, outside Priory School.

Looks like this Wednesday will be the calm between two storms. So, why not take advantage of this window of opportunity, and join us for a midweek ride.
This week’s route is an old club favourite, the “Rob Special”. It’s pretty flat, but you can make it flatter still by dodging the Brent Knoll climb ( carry on around the knoll and meet the ride coming back ) and the toll road.

A chance to travel further afield this week, with this one lump route located entirely outside the EU!
No flights, no bike boxes and no funny food to worry about – so don't miss out! See you outside Priory School at 09:00.

The weather’s looking decent for Wednesday evening once again. “Low cloud with a gentle breeze” and only a “low chance of precipitation” according to the BBC. It's another “easy pedalling” route this week, to see January out.
****Start time this week, by popular request, is back to 18:00 - see you outside Priory School*****

Shipham hill is the main feature of this weeks ride. Good news is the current forecast says nice and warm with a gentle breeze (……but maybe bring along a rain jacket - Rule 5 applies )
See you outside Priory School at 19:00
