No cafe stop planned this week, due mainly to the possibility, fairly small possibility, of rain being around in the morning.

I'd mention that the Saturday morning rides are supposed to be at an 'Introductory' level and the group should be prepared to go at the pace of the slowest participant. Having said that, there is no problem with individuals attempting a PB on any Strava segments that present themselves - bear in mind that you should have the route with you, if you are going off the front, as the group won't come searching for you.

Here's a route for this Wednesday evening. Can't remember what start point we're up to so I've gone for Priory, using the new path over to Clevedon.

Just to reiterate Duncan's advice from Saturday while the surface is generally very good there are a couple of patches of deeper gravel on bends - take care.

I thought we could take a look at the new cycling link between Weston and Clevedon.

On the way back there's an opportunity for a cafe stop at Yatton, to another cafe I've never been to. We'll see the level of interest on the day.

On the way back we'll use the Strawberry Line link towards Sandford

We plan a later start time this week, to ride in company with the France Expedition as far as Winscombe

As is befitting the English summer and the first Saturday ride of July, the weather doesn't look great; possibility of showers and a bit of a breeze (Although this may change over the next few days. Who knows).

The published route is a little shorter than usual, but we could always add a loop around the coast road and Kewstoke on the way back.
