Here is the route for this week's breezy club group ride. I've tried to keep any headwind sections to a minimum, but, hey, it should be dry!
Meet up at 9am, outside Priory School.

Here is the route for this week.
Depart Revo, on the Seafront a 6pm
Please Note - this is the amended route.
Here is the proposed route for this week's Sunday club group ride.
We are exploring new territory this week. I frequently ask the membership for ideas of where we might aim to ride to. This week we have a collaboration in route planning; mainly Teppo with some changes by myself to account for group riding.
The route is a little longer than normal, but it isn't overly onerous in terms of climbing. Most of the roads are familiar to the club but there is some new roads - although these seem fairly well used on Strava.
There is a suggested café stop at Somerton on route - The Buttercross Tea Room. It should be easy to spot in the heart of Somerton and there's plenty of space to park bikes. An alternative would be The Courtyard Cafe on an adjacent road.
As a disclaimer I should state I am unable to ride the route on Sunday myself - which isn't generally how I would like it.

After Star Wars Day last week, Google tells me this Wednesday is national Eat What You Like Day! Excellent! But before you touch that delivery app, consider for a moment Thursday morning - when you come downstairs to all those discarded junk food containers in the kitchen - oh the guilt! the remorse! The solution is obvious; simply inoculate yourself again the guilt and subsequent remorse, with a couple of hours out on the bike Wednesday evening!
Thanks to Lucas once again for this week’s route suggestion, a climb up from Wrington and around the back of the airport on Winters lane – should be a cracker.
The Weather’s looking good and everyone’s welcome. See you outside Priory school at 18:00

Wow …..domestic energy bills up another 50%. Let’s face it, even sitting around doing nothing is an expensive business nowadays. So rather than spend another evening under a pile of jumpers listening to the dogs teeth chatter, why not push back against the tyranny of the markets, and start generating some heat of your own on the Wednesday evening ride?
This week it’s the “Goldilocks” loop out to Mark and back via Chapel Allerton and Loxton. It’s so named because hopefully it’s not too hilly and not too flat. Should be a nice ride out, and we may yet see that much promised sunset over the levels!
Weather wise, it looks ok to me – but you might want to leave those deep section wheels at home!
Everyone welcome - see you outside Priory at 18:00 ( don’t forget your lights )

Here is the proposed route for this Sunday's club ride. The weather conditions suggest that going north is a good idea, although as there is a lot of gravel on the A370, we're taking a slightly different routing than normal to avoid that stretch.
Café stop at Wapping Wharf
Meet up at 9am, outside Priory School.
