Here is the proposed route for this Saturday morning's club group ride.

Meet up at 8:30am, outside Priory School

Please note that the recent wet weather has deposited a lot of water around the area. Although the route is expected to be OK, there is always the possibility of flooding and road closures that we may need to detour around.

Here is a tentative route suggestion for Saturday morning.

The post has been delayed to see what weather was likely to be turning up at the time of the ride. Earlier in the week the weather forecast was fairly bad, but there may be a window of opportunity if anyone wants to get out.

The current forecast is for a stiff breeze and rain either side of the ride ride timings. Although, there could be a shower anytime tomorrow.

I can't guarantee the participation level, but if anyone is keen to get out, then meet up at 8:30am, outside Priory School.

Personally, I won't be participating. I have the standard winter cold and will give it a miss.

Sweets Mince Pie Run.

Sweets Cafe traditionally (well it's 'sort of' a tradition as it's happened more than once) offer a free mince pie with bought drinks on the Saturday before Christmas day.

So, this week we have a route that goes down to Westhay and Sweets to take advantage of free food! Please note it is longer than our usual Saturday route, but the route is as short as is practical.

Of, course, there are options for anyone not wanting to do the whole route; it is possible to turn back at Mark, or Riverbridge - but you will miss out on a mince pie and cafe stop. If you are happy to use the A370, you can also chip a small amount of distance off the route.
