The forecast for Wednesday evening could scarcely be better. Lovely and warm, sunny and next to no wind - let’s not waste it!
A pedal up through Kings Wood and back home through the lanes is the plan this week.
Once again it’s an open ride, so all are welcome. See you outside Priory School at 18:00

This week we have a guest ride leader to coordinate the Saturday ride.
Thank to Si for stepping up to the plate.
The ride is a little longer than the usual distance for a Saturday ride, but there's the opportunity for a coffee around the half way point to recharge for the second half.

It's generally an unofficial post, but we need someone to act as the Ride Leader for this Saturday.
The usual navigator will be away this week, so won't be riding.
If a club member is prepared to turn up, have the route and keep an eye on participants, let me know where you want to go and I will post the route, etc. I had been thinking of a route including a cafe stop near Mark, but that's just one possibility.
A nice easy potter around the lanes is planned this week. If the “Feature Climbs” of previous Wednesdays have been putting you off, this one could be for you.
Once more it’s an open ride, so everyone’s welcome. See you outside priory school at 18:00

Here is the suggested route for this Sunday. Your usual navigator is not entirely certain of being on the ride, so please bring the route with you.

Once more conditions are looking great for the Wednesday ride; warm, light winds and next to no chance of rain, say the BBC - perfect in fact for a little up and over of the Mendip hills. Don’t worry about the climbing, we’re taking the relatively easy Shipham/Longbottom way up, and coming down via Burrington Combe which is arguably the best descent.
Once more it’s an open ride which means everyone’s welcome. See you outside Priory at 18:00

Here is the proposed route for this Sunday. The weather forecast is for some breeze and a possibility of dampness in the afternoon - must be summer!
I've tried to minimise headwinds and there are some new roads to experience.
Meet up at 9am, outside Priory School. Cafe stop near Chew.
