Wheelers do the Somerset Roubaix

Another soggy sunday but a great ride never the less. The route took us 58 miles climbing 1100ft and averaging 16 mph through St Georges over the A370 to Puxton crossing at Sandford through Winscombe on to the A38. A steady climb through to Wedmore followed and then great descent down Mudgley Hill. We then past Sweets cafe and on to Glastonbury. A nice cup of Tea and a slice of cake at a bike friendly café on the high street set us up for the ride around the Tor. We then headed back along the Somerset Roubaix on our bone shakers!. A big thanks to the three Pauls and three Andrews, Mike, Ben, Duncan and Luke. See you all next week. The next ride will be this Wednesday 6 pm meeting at Priory School. We are currently taking new memberships we are a friendly, welcoming and inclusive club so why not join us.
