Wheeler Welsh Experience
If you're looking for challenge and adventure this summer, why not come along for a big Wheelers day out in Wales on 7th July.
The plan is to ride from the Bridge to Abergavenny, where, if you're up for it, we'll tackle the leg shredding "Tumble" . Alternatively, if you'd rather save your legs, head for the optional cafe stop in town. Once the Tumble's done, we'll regroup for a spectacular ride over Gospel Pass ( the highest tarmac road in Wales ), followed by an exhilarating decent down to Hay on Wye. In Hay we'll stop for refreshments, then head for home.
It's a challenging ride, but don't let that put you off. We did the basic route a couple of years with a group of 10. For some it was their first Century, but we all got round OK and had a great day.
Here's the planned route.
