The Bleadon Hill hill climb is precisely that.  A 1.1 km climb up the west side of Bleadon Hill. The Strava segment can be found here; http://www.strava.com/segments/748942   The climb commences on the west side of the railway bridge and ends just before the turn for Roman Rd. General Advice; It is not possible to get much of run up at the start of the climb.
