What a ride! This weeks route was designed by Mark Bradshaw and took us out of Weston through the misty countryside of Bleadon, Loxton and on to Axbridge. We turned right at Cheddar over to Wedmore. Once over Mudgley hill it was back into the mist of the levels before arriving at Glastonbury for a welcome cake stop. The journey back to Weston via Mark was a great team effort staying together as a group and making the most of the tail wind. The ride totaled 57 miles climbing 1300ft and averaging 16.7 mph. A big thanks to Mark, Greg, Ben, Andrew, Andy, Ian, Paul and Paul.
The Wheelers meet every Sunday at 9 am at Priory School so why not come along for the 15 mile Grand Pier ride open to non members.
