Thanks to Luke for his suggestion this week. I've cut it down from the full route idea, just because it was getting a little long for an evening ride.

Although the weather is currently forecast to be wet, here is the suggested route for this weeks Saturday morning club ride. There are road closures near Mark, so the route is a little shorter than usual.

Here is my suggested route for this Sunday's club ride.
Thanks to Russ for his suggestion. I have edited Russ's route to protect the innocent. It was described on the Facebook group as "chewey", so I've toned it down a fair bit. Hopefully, it's as rideable as it looks on the map.
Should be a café stop in Portishead.
Meet up at 9am, outside Priory School.

Note. Some people are having difficulty with Strava and downloading routes. It's more likely than not to be a Strava site issue. Keep trying.

Here is the proposed route for this Sunday's club group ride.
The weather this weekend looks to be good.
I've chosen a fairly innocuous route to encourage the 'rusty' amongst us to turn out. I am told the expected café stop at Wookey is open for take away, and failing that, Sweets has a 'drive thru' operating
If anyone is feeling tired when we get back to Weston, there's the option for folks to skip the last incline around the toll road and proceed home solo, etc, on a flatter route.
Meet up, as usual, outside Priory School at 9am.
We will be sticking to groups of six, if necessary, to observe social distancing.
As suggested previously, we can look at having a 'fast group' after the cafe stop, if people have energy to burn. The main group carrying on as normal and 'sweeping up' anyone dropping off the back of the group ahead. Depending on numbers, we might also consider a faster group on the way out.

After a couple of weeks of dodgy weather, this Saturday looks good.
We'll be keeping to the recommended social distancing precaution of groups of up to six.

I've been monitoring multiple weather sites and there isn't a great deal of agreement about tomorrow.
It may or may not be wet, but it will apparently be windy. The degree of wind is in doubt, but it likely to be on the stiff side.
So, to err on the side of safety, there will be no club group ride tomorrow.
Which is disappointing.
